Program
Day 1

Welcome to Kazakhstan

Morning arrival in Almaty.
We greet the group at the airport and head to a local café for breakfast in the city (not included in the price). This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with each other before the journey begins.

After breakfast, we visit a Costume rental studio, where we’ll select traditional outfits for the upcoming photo sessions.

Next, we transfer to our accommodation base, where you can rest and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, you’ll get to know the horses more closely and meet the owner of the base, Muslim. He will share insights about their temperament and the local traditions of horse care.

Then we set out on a short horseback ride around the area (1–2 hours) to get a feel for the horses before the trek.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and relax after a day full of new experiences.
Day 2

Beginning of the Horseback Journey

After breakfast, we pack our essentials for the trek, loading them into the support vehicle, while the rest of our luggage remains safely at the base.

We set out on our horseback adventure. The route takes us through scenic fields with breathtaking mountain views.
Along the way, we pass by nomadic yurts, herds of sheep, and free-roaming horse
bands, fully immersing ourselves in the authentic spirit of Kazakhstan.
Whenever the terrain allows, we will pick up the pace, riding at a trot and gallop.

By early afternoon, we arrive at the base, where a delicious lunch awaits us.
After a short rest, the group can choose to:
  • Go for another horseback ride to explore the surrounding landscapes
  • Stay at the base and relax, with the option to try archery
In the evening, we unwind with a traditional sauna (banya), followed by dinner. For those who wish, we’ll end the day with a movie under the stars.

Tonight, we stay in traditional yurts, making this experience even more authentic.
Day 3

High into the Mountains – Zhaylyau Plateau

After breakfast, we saddle the horses and set off on our next adventure.

Our route takes us up to Zhaylyau Plateau
(2,300–2,600 m), where we are rewarded with breathtaking views of the spring mountains. As we ascend, the air becomes crisper and fresher, adding to the sense of wilderness and freedom.

Once we reach the open plateau, we will have the opportunity to launch a drone and capture incredible aerial footage of galloping horses against the stunning mountain backdrop.

Throughout the journey, we take breaks to enjoy snacks with hot tea and coffee, making time to appreciate the beauty of Kazakhstan’s untouched nature fully.

By evening, we return to the base, where a warm dinner awaits us.
Those who wish can once again relax in the sauna (banya) or unwind with a movie before a well-earned night’s rest.
Day 4

Return and Rest Before the Photoshoot

After breakfast, we pack our belongings and begin our journey back to the base.

Along the way, we once again pass by nomadic shepherds, herds of horses, and the endless open landscapes of Kazakhstan.

Whenever the terrain allows, we will pick up the pace, riding at a trot and gallop, feeling the freedom of the steppe one last time before returning.

Upon arrival, we settle back at the base and enjoy a warm and hearty dinner in great company.

This evening is all about rest and relaxation, as we prepare for one of the most spectacular days of the tour.
Day 5
Photoshoot with Golden Eagles

Morning
A slow, peaceful breakfast and some time to unwind by the pool after several active days in the saddle. This is your moment to relax and recharge before the evening shoot.

Afternoon
We’ll have lunch at the base, followed by free time to prepare for the shoot: girls can do their hair and makeup, and try on traditional Kazakh costumes. Everything is set to make you feel like the heroine of an Eastern legend.

Toward Sunset
One of the most striking photoshoots of the tour begins:
– A golden eagle photoshoot in traditional costumes, captured by professional photographer Anna Ontikova
Video filming on both phone and drone
– For the boldest riders: galloping with an eagle on your arm, filmed from a moving car riding alongside

Evening
After the shoot, we’ll enjoy dinner and rest. Another remarkable day awaits us tomorrow.
Day 6
A Day at the Kapchagay Reservoir

Early Morning
We depart from the base and head to Kapchagay Reservoir — one of the most scenic locations in the region. The horses will be transported in advance by horse truck and will be waiting for us upon arrival.

Throughout the Day
We’ll spend a full day on the shore of the reservoir, with a rich program ahead:
Photoshoot with horses by Anna Ontikova
Waterfront shooting in a location as stunning as a seaside landscape
Galloping along the water’s edge, with dynamic shots for each participant
Dynamic individual and group video footage, captured by drone and phone

There will be breaks for breakfast, lunch, and light snacks, all served on-site for your comfort.

After Sunset
We return to the base, where a delicious dinner and well-earned rest await after one of the most action-packed and visually spectacular days of the tour.
Day 7
Until We Meet Again!

After breakfast, we escort the group to the airport, bidding farewell to the incredible journey we've shared.

This was more than just a tour—it was an immersion into the rich traditions of Kazakhstan and the grandeur of its landscapes.

The memories, emotions, and stunning photographs from this adventure will stay with you for a long time. Until we meet again on future journeys!

If you wish to continue exploring Kazakhstan, please let us know. We will be happy to connect you with the best local guides who can offer other non-equestrian travel experiences in this beautiful country.
** Not a public offer. The tour program may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, group preferences, and national holidays. However, we guarantee an equivalent replacement if necessary.
